“This summer we bought a home in the Warrenton/Opal area. It had drainage issues and generally lacked curb appeal, with such problems as a dilapidated brick paver patio, decaying brick and cement steps, and  very little landscaping.  One of our home service providers suggested that Earth Stone & Water could address all these issues. From the moment we contacted owner Mike Layden for consultation, we knew we had found a special company. He actively sought our input on various approaches and together we came up with a comprehensive solution to address all areas. In the end, we have a new drainage system to carry water far  from the home’s foundation, a new Pennsylvania variegated stone patio with cobblestone edging, variegated stone on the steps and risers to replace the decaying brickwork, and beautiful landscaping around the front and side of the home. The careful attention to detail and outstanding craftsmanship he and his crew displayed during the project was incredible. On a couple occasions we also asked for minor modifications in the project and, instead of balking, he completely embraced the changes. The drainage problem is now solved and the front of our home has the dramatic curb appeal it lacked when we bought it.  He also told us several times to call him if we see anything that does not look right as time goes on.
